Appointments in the Magazines Unit at Sanoma Magazines

The new Magazines Unit at Finland’s leading magazine publisher, Sanoma Magazines Finland, is responsible for the company’s magazine business and content development, editorial management, and brand marketing. The unit is headed by Publisher Riitta Pollari, one of the members of Sanoma Magazines Finland’s Management Team.

The following appointments have been made in the Magazines Unit as of 17 October:

Taina Hynninen, B.Sc.(Econ), has been appointed Director, Magazines Business Development. She previously headed up the magazines brand communications function and has also served as head of a magazines group and marketing director. 

Elina Männikkö, M.Sc.(Econ), has been appointed Director, Planning. She previously served as Director, Business Development. 

Johanna Wilén, M.Sc.(Econ), has been appointed Director, Brand Marketing. She previously served as Brand Manager at Sanoma Magazines Finland and strategy director and planner at the media agency Dagmar. 

Harri Lindfors has been appointed Director, Digital Development. He previously served as Editor-in-Chief of IT magazine Tietokone.
