Niina Leino appointed Head of Editorial Teams of Sanoma Magazines’ lifestyle and family titles

Niina Leino (43) has been appointed Head of Editorial Teams at Sanoma Magazines Finland’s Magazines Unit and will be responsible for the lifestyle and family titles of Finland’s leading magazine publisher.

Niina Leino will transfer to Sanoma Magazines Finland as of 30 January, 2012 from Bonnier Publications, where she has been publications director and editor-in-chief of Olivia. Earlier in her career, she was editor-in-chief of titles including Trendi and Fitness and editorial secretary for the weekend supplement of Ilta-Sanomat.

In her new position, Niina Leino will head up the lifestyle and family magazine portfolio produced by Sanoma Magazines’ Magazines Unit. The editors-in-chief of Cosmopolitan, Gloria, Glorian Antiikki, Glorian Koti, Glorian ruoka&viini, Matkaopas, Meidän Perhe, Suuri Käsityö, and Vauva will report to her.

Tapio Kivistö will continue as Head of Editorial Teams for the Magazines Unit’s technology, car, and science titles, which include Auto Bild Suomi, Geo, GTi-Magazine, MikroBitti, Pelit, Tiede, Tietokone, and V8-Magazine.  

The editors-in-chief of ET-lehti, Kodin Kuvalehti, Me Naiset, and Hyvä Terveys will continue to report to Riitta Pollari.
